Shopping Frequently Asked Questions

1. What should I bring? 

  • A laundry basket (with a bungee cord attached), reusable shopping bags or anything else you can think of that will help you carry your items while you are shopping. We do have a few shopping carts and baskets for you to use but they go FAST and they cannot be removed from the store.

  •  A list of the items you are looking for but remember, toys and baby equipment (strollers, high chairs, cribs) go fast, so you may want to hit those areas first before you start to dig into the clothing. You may also want to write down the clothing and shoes sizes you are looking for.

  • A snack and some water.

2. Who can I bring with me? 

  • Children are welcome but we do ask that they not ride on or play with any toys until they are purchased. For their safety, children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • Partners and grandparents may help you shop at our Public and Diaper Drop Sales. If bringing a friend or neighbor to the Diaper Drop Sale, they will need to bring a package of diapers.

3. What amenities do you have? 

  • Bathrooms are available inside Northgate Mall. Dressing rooms are not available. Please do not try on merchandise.

4.  What kind of payment do you accept? 

  • Cash or Visa/MC payment only. An additional 2.9% service fee will be added to all credit card sales. No personal or business checks accepted, no exceptions. Dollar Day is cash only.

5. Do you have a full -time store location? 

  • No, we are a twice-annual seasonal sale. Kidcycle is held once in the spring and once in the fall. 

6.  Is there an entry fee? 

  • No. Admission is free!

7.  Can I return purchases?

  • Please inspect all items carefully before purchasing. No exchanges, returns or refunds. If the item is the wrong size, you are welcome to sell it at our next sale.

 8. Can I reserve or hold items? 

  • We will have a small "hold area" where you may reserve the item for no more than 1/2 hour.  If you do not return to purchase the item within that time, it will be returned to the sales floor.

9. Do you sell recalled items?

  • We take the safety of our shoppers and their children very seriously and we do our best to make sure our sale doesn't include recalled items. We strongly suggest that our sellers visit the links below to see what's been recalled before heading out to shop with us. All sales are final and at your own risk. You may want to view:  

10. How can I beat the crowds and shop early? 

  • If you want to shop early, there are several special opportunities:
    • New Parents, Foster and Military Families
      If you are a military family, foster family, are expecting or have a 1-year-old or younger, we want to celebrate you! Click HERE to register for the Sale as a New Parent/Military or Foster Family! You will receive your pass via email the day of the event to shop early during the Diaper Drop Sale.**
    • Diaper Drop Sale
      Bring a supply of unused diapers (in or out of the original package!) to the Diaper Drop Sale, and shop before the general public.
    • Volunteer and/or Barter
      Want to shop even earlier? We have some bartering and volunteer opportunities available which will allow you to shop first on thousands of items!!
